Privacy Policy — Habit Tracker — Red Panda

This Privacy Policy applies to the
Habit Tracker — Red Panda mobile application (the
“Application”) created by
Andrei Vazhenov (the
“Service Provider”) and provided as a freemium service. The Application is provided
“AS IS.”If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Application.
1. What data the Application collects 1.1. Personal informationThe Application does
not require account registration and does
not knowingly collect personally identifiable information such as your name, address, phone number, or email through in-app forms.
1.2. Analytics (anonymized usage data)To understand how the Application is used and to improve stability and performance, the Application uses
Firebase Analytics. Firebase Analytics may collect
anonymized and
non-personally identifiable information, such as:
- device type and model (general)
- operating system version
- app version
- country/region (approximate, derived from device settings; not precise location)
- app interactions (screen views, feature usage)
- performance/crash-related events (if enabled within Firebase configuration)
The Application does
not use the advertising identifier (
IDFA) and does not collect data for targeted advertising.

1.3. Apple Health (HealthKit) data — optionalThe Application may offer optional integration with
Apple Health using Apple’s
HealthKit framework (
“Apple Health Integration”). This integration is
disabled by default and only works if you explicitly grant permission.
Depending on the features you enable, the Application may request permission to
read and/or write certain HealthKit data types that relate to the Application’s functionality (for example,
water/hydration intake and other wellness metrics you choose to sync). The exact data types requested are shown by iOS in the Apple Health permission prompt.
Important points about HealthKit data:- Used only for the Apple Health feature: Health data is used solely to provide synchronization between the Application and Apple Health.
- Processed on your device: The Service Provider does not store your Apple Health data on external servers.
- Not shared with third parties: Apple Health data is not sent to Firebase Analytics, RevenueCat, advertisers, or any other third party.
- You control access: You can revoke access at any time via:
- iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Habit Tracker — Red Panda, or
- the Apple Health app permissions.
The Application does
not use
CareKit.
2. How the Application uses collected dataThe Application uses collected data for the following purposes:
- App functionality: providing features inside the Application
- App improvement: understanding anonymized usage patterns to improve UX and features
- Performance & stability: improving reliability, debugging issues, and monitoring app performance
- Payments/subscriptions: processing subscriptions and purchases via RevenueCat (see Section 4)
3. Location dataThe Application does
not collect
precise real-time location information (e.g., GPS).
4. Third-party services 4.1. Firebase AnalyticsThe Application uses
Firebase Analytics to collect anonymized analytics data for internal analysis and improvement. This data is aggregated and does not contain direct personal identifiers.
4.2. RevenueCat (subscriptions and purchases)If you make in-app purchases or subscribe, payments are processed via
RevenueCat, Inc. (300 Euclid Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94118, USA). RevenueCat may process purchase-related information (e.g., subscription status, transaction identifiers) necessary to manage entitlements and subscriptions.

4.3. Apple / App StoreApple may process certain data necessary to provide App Store services (downloads, purchases, refunds, and device-related security). This processing is governed by Apple’s policies.
5. Sharing of dataThe Service Provider does
not sell, rent, or trade your data.
- Analytics data (Firebase): anonymized, used for internal app analysis/improvement.
- Apple Health data (HealthKit): not shared with third parties; not sent to analytics; handled locally on-device and via Apple Health permissions.
- Purchase data (RevenueCat): limited to what is required to provide subscriptions/entitlements.
- 6. Data retentionFirebase Analytics: retained according to Firebase/Google settings and policies configured for the project.
- Apple Health data: remains within Apple Health on your device and is managed by iOS/Apple Health.
- Subscription data (RevenueCat): retained as necessary for subscription management and legal/accounting obligations.
- 7. Your choices and rights 7.1. Opt-outYou can stop all data collection by uninstalling the Application.
- You can limit analytics collection by adjusting device settings where applicable (system-level options vary by iOS version).
- You can revoke Apple Health permissions at any time via iOS settings / Apple Health app.
7.2. Access, deletion, and questionsBecause the Application does not require accounts and does not collect direct personal identifiers inside the app, the Service Provider may be unable to identify or delete analytics records tied to a specific person. However, you can contact the Service Provider and they will make reasonable efforts to assist.
8. Children’s privacyThe Application is
not intended to knowingly collect data from children under the age of
13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children.

redpandatrackerinfo@gmail.com9. SecurityThe Service Provider is committed to protecting your information. The Application uses reputable third-party providers (Firebase and RevenueCat) and follows reasonable safeguards.
However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
10. International transfersThird-party services used by the Application (such as Firebase and RevenueCat) may process data on servers located in different countries. By using the Application, you understand that data may be transferred and processed outside your country of residence according to the providers’ policies.
11. Changes to this Privacy PolicyThis Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The Service Provider will post the updated Privacy Policy on the page where it is published and update the “Effective date” above. Continued use of the Application after changes means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
